Frequently Asked Questions

Face Masks

Students, employees and guests must correctly wear masks or facial coverings over noses and mouths while indoors, regardless of vaccination status, including in classrooms, offices, restrooms, libraries, gyms, lecture halls, labs, study rooms and theaters.

Students who do not comply could be considered in violation of the Student Code of Conduct.

Any student with a medical condition or disability requiring an exemption from wearing a mask or face covering indoors must contact their college’s Disabled Student Programs & Services (DSPS) or Office of Special Services (OSS) for approval as soon as possible.

The LACCD Board of Trustees adopted Board Policy 2800 regarding indoor mask/face covering requirements at its August 4, 2021 meeting.  The Board’s action aligns with the Health Orders from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
